Bevel NYC is a New York-based jewelry label that launched its first collection just last year. Jonathan Goldstein, the designer behind the brand, creates jewelry that is nontraditional because of its alternative vision of how jewelry can be worn. Some of the pieces are designed as facial wear, while others pierce the ear and take on a curvilinear shape that recalls in some ways early Mesoamerican design. Still, there are more traditional pieces like necklaces, rings and bracelets for all of you who are not quite ready for progressive body wear.
I love the raw, unfinished quality of the pieces, as well as the alternative vision and unisex design.
