New Zealand based brand Deadly Ponies is one of my favorite emerging handbag and Jewelry designers, and they have won over my admiration, yet again, with their 2011 Autumn/Winter collection “Egg, White and Blue.” Drawing it’s inspiration from the diversity of the American terrain, the bags utilize animal skins to reference the Native Americans, and colors that reference the landscape while brass details allude to the utilitarianism associated with the United States. I am especially partial towards the deer skin covered large bowling bag and the cow/calf skin satchel.
