WonderMode grew from a conversation our Founder, Aaron Duncan had with friends looking to sell their fashion lines as unknowns. With many of them just out of design school, most high-end retailers felt taking on such inventory would be too risky due to scarce space of real estate.

For Aaron, the answer came quickly and eliminated those costly and geographical barriers: create a virtual luxury marketplace coupled with original content that will allow designers to market to and communicate directly with the customer, from anywhere, to anywhere. He recognized new designers may not have the time, money or prior knowledge to develop their own brand as an independent, brick and mortar store, or maintain and promote a functional and visually appealing website.
